Alexandra was photographed by Kurt Iswarienko for New York Post 2019. Here is a short part of her interview to the magazine :
Despite blockbuster roles in the “Percy Jackson” films, “San Andreas,” “Baywatch” and “True Detective,” Daddario, 33, still remains startled by her growing celebrity.
“It can be so jarring,” says the LA-based actress. “After ‘Baywatch’ there were dumb paparazzi photos of me in slippers and a pair of oversize pants and I was like, ‘I can’t dress like this anymore.’ So I have been getting into fashion a little more.”
She shows off that new sartorial side in her latest project, the dark comedy “Why Women Kill” for CBS All Access, which focuses on the parallel lives of three women (in the 1960s, 1980s and today), all dealing with infidelity. Daddario plays Jade, a bisexual mistress in a tumultuous polyamorous relationship that ends in dramatic bloodshed. “I’ve had a great time working on it,” she says of the show, created by Marc Cherry of “Desperate Housewives” fame.
“I got to do some stabbing, which was fun. I love doing that kind of stuff. The show has three different time periods with three different stories so you can kind of go in and get something different out of each one because they all have different messages.” Read the rest of the interview here.
